Career guidance
Are you in the right job? Do you feel disillusioned, unhappy, and dread going to work?
Working in a job that is not right for you can slowly but surely drain your energy and life spirit. Yet it can seem like a selfish luxury to leave your job when there are people relying on you and there are never ending bills to be paid.
One of the biggest blocks to making changes is fear. Fear can impede your ability to hear and follow your guidance that says it’s time to move on. It can paralyse you into indecision. As a result, it’s just easier to keep on dragging yourself to work each day. One way to ascertain if fear is holding you back is to imagine a conversation with your 80 year old self. What would that self say to you about the path you are on?
Losing a job
Sometimes moving on is not our choice but it happens anyway through being made redundant or unexpectedly losing a job.
This can be distressing but it is also an opportunity. It’s your inner guidance system telling you that you need to make changes in your career and express yourself in more meaningful and authentic ways in your work.
Make a difference
I want you to know that it is possible to have a meaningful job and make a positive difference to the world. It is possible to have a job where you make money and are deeply satisfied by the work that you are doing. If you want to make that shift, I can help.
